is fearful lest thinking make it so. I can honestly say that

probably 95% of the things I was afraid of, it turned out

I had no reason to be. 


And even if the thing you fear happens...so what? Again,

95% of the time your world is not going to fall apart, your

life will not be in danger. So drop fear by the wayside.

Just... let it go. Then make way for a surprising tomorrow.

What does laughing and crying at the same time mean?

This is very good for you. It is a type of meditation that allows your inner self to come to the surface and penetrate your inner self. This is your consciousness trying to awaken you, let it happen and in fact, become totally immersed in it, crying until it is so extreme that you are literally drooling. It is very important to not try and suppress any of the emotions, let them be felt completely. Then, as it cools down to a fainter cry, try to feel the underlying joy that is your true nature as it tries to break free of the bonds and walls you have built around it, and it will come to the surface. This will be experienced as belly laughing and will create the balance missing from your existence. I always seem to end with laughter, followed by an inner peace that words can't describe.

Ways to avoid holiday weight gain

Ways to avoid holiday weight gain this year:
1 ❥ Maintain an exercise routine
2 ❥ Good fats aren't the main culprits for weight gain. Processed foods contain hydrogenated oils which can create fat. Sugar and especially HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) are worse. So are huge quantities of low nutrition, high calorie, refined carbs. You know, cookies, cakes, candies, etc
3 ❥ Participate at a friend's or family member's dinner by bringing a healthy dish that you can share at a casual, social event. You'll look like a generous person even while others are attracted to the junk food being served, and you'll have some healthier food for yourself
4 ❥ Grab an occasional delicious treat and eat it slowly so you can really enjoy it. Then avoid eating more of whatever was so delightful for the rest of the event
