Ways to avoid holiday weight gain this year:
1 ❥ Maintain an exercise routine
2 ❥ Good fats aren't the main culprits for weight gain. Processed foods contain hydrogenated oils which can create fat. Sugar and especially HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) are worse. So are huge quantities of low nutrition, high calorie, refined carbs. You know, cookies, cakes, candies, etc
3 ❥ Participate at a friend's or family member's dinner by bringing a healthy dish that you can share at a casual, social event. You'll look like a generous person even while others are attracted to the junk food being served, and you'll have some healthier food for yourself
4 ❥ Grab an occasional delicious treat and eat it slowly so you can really enjoy it. Then avoid eating more of whatever was so delightful for the rest of the event
